Awards Scheme
Our Awards scheme has been running for over twenty years. The Awards are normally presented every two years, to celebrate excellence in local endeavour.

The Society has given awards to many projects both large and small. For example, awards have been given for the restoration and conservation of traditional buildings, creating a new feature rich field boundary, a renewable scheme and community facilities.

We need your help. If you know of a project that you think merits an award please get in touch. Anyone (with the owner's permission) may nominate a project.

Conwy Valley Interpretation Boards
Our project entails the installation of interpretation boards at seven of the nine Conwy Valley railway stations for the general information of rail users, both local and visiting. The boards will contain information about the cultural and built heritage of the area, wildlife interests as well as opportunities for all to access the outdoors.
The outcome we hope is that rail users will gain a better appreciation and enjoyment of the Conwy Valley and to do so in a more sustainable way.

If you have any ideas about content and the design of the boards or would just like to help in any way please get in touch.
